Members' Credit Union Story

Katie’s decided to join APCI FCU over 30 years ago because of the products and services offered and feels the personal service of the Credit Union staff is the number one benefit of membership. Katie shared with us multiple instances of the Credit Union providing services that made a significant positive impact for her and her family:

“I appreciate that the Credit Union noticed and alerted me to an unauthorized attempt to access my account. I have extended membership to several family members who have set up joint accounts, and the Credit Union also helped me set up estate accounts when my parents passed away which was very helpful. I had a mortgage through the Credit Union as well with a great rate, easy repayment options and minimal fees! I love the convenience of being able to call to transfer money between accounts, or to use APCI eBanking online or through the mobile app. I brought the interns from my department to APCI FCU so they are able to have the chance of to enjoy these benefits regardless of their future endeavors.”

Q. What was your deciding factor in joining the Credit Union?         

A. An immediate family member, who is an Air Products employee, encouraged me to join.

Q. What would you say is the #1 benefit of being a Credit Union member?

A. Youth savings options.

Q. What type of situation or interaction have you experienced during which the Credit Union, or a Credit Union employee, provided service that made a significant positive impact for you or your family.

A.  I recently opened custodial accounts for three children. It is great that the funds in these accounts can be put into a Money Market or certificates so they can earn higher dividends to help the children save more. The Kids Klub is a great added bonus as well!
