Credit Union Member Services Team Lead 

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for a Credit Union Member Services Team Lead at our APCI Federal Credit Union in Allentown, Pennsylvania!

Duties:

  • Coach the Member Services Team to provide our members with exceptional member service experience using the resources from the Living the Brand program. 
  • Acquire and demonstrate a high level of knowledge regarding APCI FCU’s products and services, including share, IRA, and loan products along with account access services. Train the Member Services Team on new products and procedures as they are developed.
  • Provide support and assistance to the Member Services Team as needed. Act as a Membership Officer, as necessary.
  • Review reports and phone calls for Quality Assurance and coach staff members on positive ways to improve the member experience. 
  • Continually assess APCI FCU share products offered to the membership, providing recommendations for improvements or enhancements based on member needs, business conditions or competitive opportunities. 
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of APCI FCU regulatory requirements such as USA PATRIOT Act, BSA/OFAC and Reg. DD (Truth-In-Savings).
  • Perform other duties and complete projects as assigned by the APCI FCU President/CEO, CFO, CMR, CCL, Member Services Manager or Board of Directors.
  • Processing financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and issuing cashier’s checks in addition to balancing each day’s transactions
  • Verifying institution cash and check totals, investigating, and resolving any out-of-balance conditions.
  • Managing risk by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations, policy requirements and audit procedures.
  • Team Leads facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments, ensuring smooth workflow and knowledge sharing. You will also act as a liaison between the team and management.
  • Lead by example to create an inclusive and professional environment where all team members are respected, and diversity is valued.

Credit Union Teller 

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for a Credit Union Teller at our APCI Federal Credit Union in Allentown, Pennsylvania!

Duties:

  • Develop and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of APCI FCU products and services with ability to clearly explain to current or potential members.
  • Represent APCI FCU in a courteous and professional manner which supports APCI FCU’s mission and reputation. 
  • Open, modify and close all types of deposit products such as savings, checking, money market, and certificates.
  • Perform financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and issuing cashier's checks. Additionally balance cash drawers, complete end-of-day reports, prepare weekly cash pick for armored carrier, investigate, and resolve any out-of-balance conditions for accounting.
  • Ensure that all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential. Enforce strict adherence to established security procedures. 
  • Assist with change of addresses, order debit cards, scan driver’s licenses, update member profiles on all accounts and all profiles, import closed account forms to Nautilus, process returned mail. 
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of APCI FCU regulatory requirements such as USA PATRIOT Act, BSA/OFAC and Reg. DD (Truth-In-Savings).
  • Perform other duties and complete projects as assigned by the APCI FCU President/CEO, CFO, CMR, CCL, Manager of Member Services or Board of Directors.
