Members' Credit Union Story

James W.

Current City and State: Ethridge, TN

Years of Membership: 26

James, a former Air Products employee, joined APCI FCU based on the recommendation of coworkers when he was part of the company and has remained a member in the years since. Three of his eligible immediate family and household are also Credit Union members. James cites loan rates as the number one benefit of membership.

Here is his story:
“I became a Credit Union member after an acquisition made me eligible as an Air Products employee in 1998. I have used APCI FCU several times over the years and remain a very satisfied customer to this day. Each time I have needed a loan, APCI FCU rates have always offered the best deal. They also have great member service and that combination is unbeatable.

Recently our grandson wanted to obtain his own loan to repay me for a $6,500 transmission repair for his car. He could have gone to a local financial institution, but the interest rate was double APCI FCU’s rate. He applied and was approved for the loan. He is proud that he has been able to repay us, and he is also building his own credit for the future as a APCI FCU member.”
